How to Play Kings io

Your journey begins as a lonesome king with limited coins, but as you move across the field, you’ll gather gold coins. This gold allows you to hire soldiers who will walk with you and fight by your side.
The more gold you collect, the stronger your army can become. Using your coins, unlock powerful units like footmen, swordsmen, ranged corps, crossbowmen, axemen, warriors, and knights. As you progress, you can recruit even mightier forces, including wyverns, ballistas, catapult crews, and cannoneers.
You can place buildings on the map to expand your territory and enhance your army’s strength. Build houses to increase the number of soldiers you can recruit, gold mines to generate income, and defensive towers to fortify your kingdom.
Your army isn’t just for show! Other kings are trying to expand their own empires, so you'll need to fight off attackers and defend your territory with archery and cannon towers.
Outplay and outmaneuver other players by using strategy, timing, and resource management. The last king standing with the largest and strongest army will claim ultimate victory!

Army Units

Your soldiers are your key to victory. Here’s a look at the different units you can recruit:

Footman – Basic melee unit, useful for early battles. (Price: 15 coins)
Swordsman – Stronger than footmen, great for frontline attacks. (Price: 75 coins)
Ranged Corps – Archers with decent attack range. (Price: 125 coins)
Crossbowmen – More powerful archers with a faster attack rate. (Price: 250 coins)
Axemen – Heavy melee fighters dealing high damage. (Price: 350 coins)
Warriors – Elite melee soldiers with high endurance. (Price: 450 coins)
